Standen Pottery Studio

WE ARE OPEN FOR CLASSES. We are  welcome students of any level or experience.

Please do not attend if you show any symptoms of Corona Virus or have been in contact with somebody with symptoms.

We are contactable via our Facebook page, email  or phone. Opening hours 10 am – 4 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Outside of these times responses will be slower. 

Pottery classes in a quiet rural setting for adults and children on the Isle of Wight. One to one classes or small group sessions, whether you are a total beginner or have some experience of working with clay.

I studied ceramics and 3D design for my degree course at West Surrey College, Farnham. Since then I have taught at several venues across the Island such as Quay Arts alongside a lengthy career at the Isle of Wight college, running ceramics and art classes. I have undertaken many commissions over the years and am happy to undertake a wide range of work.

Classes are for beginners, those who would like to refresh their techniques, or potters that would like to specialise in throwing or decorating techniques.

Open to all ages. Groups classes are a max of 3 adult students or 4 children.
